Description:Job Title: Operations Manager - RUMI Fine Fragrances.Location: Bangalore (On-site).Type: Full-time.About RUMI Fine Fragrances.We are building the first truly global fragrance brand from India a brand crafted with world-class quality and rooted in the soul of Indian perfumery.The mission is bold, the vision is clear, and now were putting together the founding team that will help turn it into reality.Were not hiring for jobs.Were hiring for passion, ownership, and obsession.If youre someone who wakes up excited to solve problems, build systems from scratch, and make things run like clockwork this is your stage.If you want comfort, routine, or worklife balance, this wont be for you.If you want to build something extraordinary with a team that inspires each other every day youll feel right at home.Role: Operations Manager.What Youll Own:You will build, optimise, and scale the operational backbone of RUMI.From 3PL relationships to order fulfilment to inventory accuracy youll ensure every customer receives a seamless, premium experience.Key Responsibilities:- Set up and manage 3PL warehousing and logistics partners across regions.- Ensure every order ships in full, on time, every time no excuses.- Own the entire order-to-delivery pipeline for D2C and marketplace channels.- Build SOPs, define SLAs, and ensure compliance across all fulfilment partners.- Track daily dispatches, returns, RTOs, and logistics performance to minimise errors and delays.- Manage inventory accuracy, stock reconciliations, and forecasting.- Coordinate with production, procurement, and the D2C team for smooth flow of goods.- Drive continuous improvement reduce costs, reduce errors, improve speed.- Handle quality checks, packaging standards, and operational hygiene.- Set up dashboards and review metrics regularly to identify gaps and implement fixes.What Makes You a Great Fit:- 4-5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, warehousing, or fulfilment for a D2C or FMCG brand.- Experience working with 3PL partners is a must.- Youre proactive, structured, and obsessed with operational excellence.- Strong problem-solving skills and a comfort with numbers, systems, and tools.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, zero-bureaucracy startup environment.- Bias for action - you get things done, even if you have to figure it out along the way.- Passion for building reliable, scalable systems from scratch.What Youll Get:- The chance to build the operational foundation of a global luxury brand.- High ownership and autonomy with direct, visible impact.- A culture of speed, honesty, and creativity.- A team that works hard, learns fast, and has a lot of fun doing it.
