Job Overview :

We're looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Reporting Consultant to join our team in Bangalore or Gurgaon. With 4-6 years of specialized experience, you'll be the subject matter expert responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of reporting solutions within SAP SuccessFactors. This involves deeply technical design, development, optimization, and advanced troubleshooting of reports to transform complex HR data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Serve as an SAP SuccessFactors reporting expert, focusing on the technical design, development, and optimization of complex reporting solutions across the entire SuccessFactors suite.

- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to meticulously gather, analyze, and validate intricate business requirements related to advanced reporting and analytics, translating these into precise technical specifications.

- Design and develop both custom and standard reports leveraging the full capabilities of SAP SuccessFactors reporting tools, including Ad Hoc Reporting, Canvas/Online Report Designer (ORD) with advanced queries and calculated columns, Report Center, and Table/Tile reports.

- Ensure that all reporting deliverables strictly adhere to data governance policies, compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, local regulations), and align perfectly with functional business processes and user expectations.

- Proactively identify reporting gaps, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks within existing reports, proposing and implementing advanced enhancements or technical workarounds using reporting tool features.

- Provide comprehensive post-deployment support, including advanced troubleshooting of complex data extraction, transformation, and visualization issues; work closely with functional and technical teams to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable resolutions.

- Meticulously document technical specifications, detailed report designs (including data sources, joins, filters, and calculation logic), test cases, and validation results.

- Manage change requests for reporting solutions, performing thorough technical impact analysis and implementing emergency fixes with precision.

- Contribute actively to the overall solution architecture for SuccessFactors reporting, defining data models for analytics, and establishing best practices in data visualization and report performance.

- Provide effective technical training and guidance to end-users and power users on advanced report usage, data interpretation, and self-service reporting capabilities.

- Support both new SuccessFactors module implementations (e.g., EC, Recruiting, Performance & Goals) and ongoing support engagements by offering expert reporting insights and hands-on solution delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4-6 years of hands-on experience as an SAP SuccessFactors reporting expert.

Strong technical proficiency with SAP SuccessFactors reporting tools, including :

- Ad Hoc Reporting (Detailed Reporting, Pivot Reporting)

- Canvas/Online Report Designer (ORD) with advanced query design (e.g., Joins, Calculated Columns, Filters)

- Report Center functionalities

- Knowledge of Report Stories in People Analytics (preferred).

- Proven ability to interpret complex SuccessFactors data models and understand object relationships.

- Experience with data extraction methods from SuccessFactors.

- Solid understanding of SuccessFactors module functionalities (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Compensation) as they relate to reporting.

- Strong analytical and advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex data and reporting issues.

- Experience in documenting technical specifications and report designs.

- Familiarity with data quality and governance principles in an HR context.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
