You’ll partner cross-functionally with CloudOps, DevOps, and SRE teams to maximize uptime, optimize performance, and automate operational workflows. Your work will shape our ability to deliver solutions at scale while upholding the highest standards of security and compliance (FedRAMP High, IL5). If you’re passionate about cloud tech, automation, and making a visible impact, we want to hear from youWhat you’ll do- Administer, monitor, and support SQL Server databases on AWS (RDS, EC2) and Azure (SQL DB, Managed Instance, SQL on VMs) - Manage backup/recovery, patching, and high availability (AlwaysOn, Geo-replication, Log Shipping) - Tune SQL queries, improve indexing and analyze wait stats, leveraging SolarWinds DPA and related tools - Integrate and optimize observability tools such as New Relic APM, RedGate Monitor, and SQL Monitor for real-time diagnostics and alerting - Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, and other scripting tools; contribute to DevOps pipelines - Support other data platforms: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis - Collaborate with CloudOps, DevOps, and SRE teams around release management, deployment automation, and IaC - Ensure cost-effective cloud resource utilization through tagging, right-sizing, and scheduled scaling - Maintain secure access controls and auditing as per FedRAMP High and IL5; support audits and compliance - Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for incident response and resolutionWhat you will bring- 3–5 years’ hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA, including at least 2 years working in AWS or Azure cloud - Solid expertise with SQL Server 2016+ (installation, tuning, HA/DR, maintenance) - Proven experience with cloud monitoring & troubleshooting tools: New Relic (DB Insights & APM), SolarWinds DPA, RedGate - Strong automation skills using PowerShell, T-SQL, and (optionally) Azure/AWS CLI - Experience in regulated/cloud environments (FedRAMP, IL5, HIPAA, etc.) and cost optimization - Excellent communication and documentation skills; proven collaborator across functions - Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis)Nice-to-haves- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Database – Specialty or Solutions Architect – Associate - Familiarity with FedRAMP High/IL5 operational standardsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance incentiveFriendly, flexible work cultureCloud training and technical certification opportunitiesExposure to leading cloud architectures and DevOps best practicesCollaborative, fast-paced engineering teamWhy Ivanti?Friendly, flexible schedules: Empowering you to do your best, wherever you workCompetitive compensation & total rewards: Health, wellness, and financial plans for you and your familyGlobal, diverse teams: Work with talent from 23+ countriesLearning & development: Unlock new skills with best-in-class resourcesEquity & belonging: We value every voice—your contributions shape our solutionsWhat drives usIvanti’s mission is to elevate human potential by managing, protecting, and automating technology for continuous innovation.
