Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Selenium automation using Python and/or Java, API testing, and functional testing. This role demands a deep understanding of test automation frameworks and database validation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Selenium with Java/Python.
Develop and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
Perform thorough functional and regression testing of applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Execute SQL queries for backend validation and data integrity checks.
Document test scenarios, create test plans, and maintain test scripts in version-controlled environments.
Mandatory Skills:
Selenium Automation with Python and/or Java
API Automation – Strong hands-on experience
Functional Testing – End-to-end testing skills
Database Experience – Writing and validating complex SQL queries
Good to Have:
Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber/Behave
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus
Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 8 years of QA experience with strong automation exposure
