The role involves preparing quotations based on customer requirements and collaborating with Business Development Managers to ensure timely and accurate proposals.ResponsibilitiesPrepare quotations for solutions based on customer requirements and advice from Business Development Managers. Review customer specifications and drawings, and complete client datasheets. Build and maintain quote files, including system and battery bank sizing. Populate quote templates and pricing spreadsheets. Deliver proposals within the required deadlines. Process Sales Orders through ABEL software. Provide CAD drawings and documentation as required. Ensure all job files are complete before transfer to the production team. Respond to enquiries and requests within the same workday. Adhere strictly to the company’s pricing policy and selling strategies. Continuously develop knowledge of Magellan’s products and services. Work additional hours as required to meet deadlines.Other ResponsibilitiesEnsuring compliance with company procedures and policies. Adhere to the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) policies & procedures. Actively participate in providing information regarding the development and maintenance of the company’s IMS. Suggest improvements and be active in the general improvement of all systems and methods of work to ensure the company supports activities and services that are carried out in a reliable and cost-effective manner. Report all known hazards and incidents to ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner as per company procedure.QualificationsRelevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar field (preferred).Required SkillsStrong understanding ofelectrical systems, battery banks, and related power solutions . Deep knowledge ofpower conversion equipment , includingDC battery chargers and UPS systems . Ability tointerpret technical specifications, drawings, and datasheetsaccurately. Proficiency inAutoCAD(orDraftSight ) for preparing and modifying technical drawings. Familiarity withquotation systems, pricing templates, and proposal documentation . Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel , including use ofpricing and cost analysis spreadsheets . Stronganalytical and numerical skillswith attention to detail and accuracy. Excellentcommunication, coordination, and organizationalskills. Ability towork under pressure and meet tight deadlines . Experience withERP/CRM systems(e.g.,ABEL ,Zoho , or equivalent) is an advantage.
