Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-centric Credit Card Product Manager with hands-on experience in developing and managing consumer banking products.This Middle Management role is pivotal in driving the end-to-end lifecycle of our Credit Card portfolio, focusing on creating and delivering a differentiated value proposition in a fast-paced, competitive environment.The Manager will be the core owner of product strategy, customer experience, and cross-functional execution, ensuring that our offerings reflect strong Customer Focus and achieve market success.Key Responsibilities:- Product Strategy and Value Proposition Ownership: End-to-end management of the core value proposition for both mass and premium Credit Card product segments, continuously driving and tracking performance against defined customer needs and business goals.- Product Development and Launch: Design, develop, and successfully launch new Credit Card products into the market, managing the full product definition, feature documentation, and market readiness processes.- Customer Journey and Experience Management: Own and optimize the end-to-end customer journeys for the Credit Card lifecycle, including application, issuance, usage, and service.- Manage and improve all associated operational processes and customer experience points to create differentiated service.- Product Collaterals and Communication Management: Manage the creation and distribution of all product collaterals (e.g., policy documents, marketing materials) and critical customer-engaging properties such as customer statements.- Communication Channel Strategy: Create and manage all customer communication channels including technical deployment via SMS, Email, WhatsApp, IVR, and mobile app notifications, designing assertive and timely communication to build "delighters" throughout the customer journey.- Feature Penetration and Utilization Analysis: Track and identify feature utilization rates across the portfolio, developing strategies to drive higher feature penetration.- Create and manage technical product utilization dashboards and publish analytical reports of product depth and feature usage to senior stakeholders.- Operational and Fulfillment Process Management: Manage all back-end processes related to value proposition delivery and fulfillment (e.g., benefits enrollment, reward redemption) to ensure seamless and consistent execution as per design.- Market Benchmarking and Partner Engagement: Engage with internal and external partners (including technology and co-brand partners) to conduct competition benchmarking and proactively identify market opportunities to introduce new, differentiated features.- Payment Channels and Governance: Manage various channels and processes for Credit Card bill payment, optimizing the reconciliation and customer experience for smooth fund flow.- Drive internal governance processes for launching any new product, feature, or process change.- Cross-Functional Product Driving: Engage in extensive cross-functional engagement with internal teams (e.g., Technology, Operations, Risk, Marketing) and external stakeholders to drive both product development and higher product usage across the customer base.Required Skills:- PG/Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related quantitative field.- Hands-on experience in developing, launching, and managing Credit Card products within the Banking or Financial Services Industry (typically 5+ years of relevant product experience).- Demonstrated expertise in managing product profitability and analyzing customer value propositions for mass and premium segments.- Technical understanding of the Credit Card transaction lifecycle (issuance, authorization, settlement, billing) and associated operational processes.- Proven experience in defining requirements and collaborating with technology teams to manage end-to-end customer journeys and digital product features.- Strong analytical skills for creating and managing product utilization dashboards and driving feature penetration goals.- Experience in managing and optimizing customer communication channels (e.g., SMS, Email, Mobile App push notifications).Preferred Skills:- Certification or advanced knowledge in agile product management methodologies (e.g., CSPO, PSPO).- Experience specifically managing payment processes or implementing new payment technologies (e.g., tokenization).- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements specific to the Indian Credit Card market.- Proven ability to manage vendor/partner relationships to integrate third-party product features (ref:iimjobs.com)
