Responsibilities What will you contribute? As a hands-on Senior Software Engineer, you will drive architectural decisions to solve large and complex enterprise business problems at scale. You will lead the analysis of complex technical issues and technology choices, communicate them with the team and stakeholders to drive consensus. You will directly design, engineer, and review the most important areas of the product (cloud services, components) by closely working with product managers. You will be accountable for the software deliverables to meet all requirements of quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, testability. You will also be responsible for driving the cloud services operation, and make sure they perform within the expected parameters. You will help establish effective and agile engineering practices across our engineering teams. You would be working in Bucharest or India (Hybrid), reporting to the Director of IT Architecture and Strategy Required Experience: Proven track record (5+ years’ experience) of architecting and hands-on engineering world-class, large scale, commercial and enterprise applications and services in cloud Exceptional design, coding, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages (such as C#/.NET Core) backed by solid computer science fundamentals Good knowledge of the cloud ecosystem and experience with one or more of the large cloud providers (Azure/AWS/GCP) Good grasp of multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous and cloud programming Good understanding of data structures & algorithms Experienced with service-oriented architecture and cloud services development Understanding of DevOps and continuous deployment and modern engineering practices Effective teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills Ability to work with globally distributed teams Hands on experience in Scripting and Automation Good written and verbal Communication skills Nice to have: Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible/Puppet (Infrastructure as Code) Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases Familiarity with Network Benefits Competitive salary and bonus Flexible vacation policy - a minimum of 21 days with option to take more Life insurance and disability insurance Private medical healthcare Flexible benefits including Gym discount, book discount (Bookster) Employee Wellbeing Assistance program - 24/7 free service for you and immediate family Enhanced Pension - III Pillar Enhanced parental benefits (bonus and gifts for children)
