Sr. Network Systems Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience.
Cisco Switching (Configuring VLAN’s, access ports, Trunks/Port-channel, HSRP/VRRP, Port security, Stacking, Cisco Nexus – VPC, FEX etc)
Routing – Configure Routing, VRF Routes (Static, OSPF, BGP), PBR
Firewalls – Configuring Firewall rules (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, FortiGate, Cisco ASA etc), IPS, Gateway AV, Certificates
Security – VPN’s, HIPS, VA, DDOS/Spoof mitigation, ISE, AAA-Radius/Tacacs+, NAC, Hardening.
Wireless –, AP (Aruba/Cisco), Cisco WLC, Clear pass
Certifications – CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA/NSE
Job Description: Network and security – L2/L3
Min 5+ years of experience in network operations, maintenance and troubleshoot Routing, Switching and Network Security.
Knowledge and understanding of technical experience: IP routing, switching, firewall, and network automation techniques/solutions
Perform network maintenance and Monitor performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
Knowledge of Cisco switching (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VTP, STP, Trunking, HSRP, Stack, ACL, VRF, Snooping, etc.).
Knowledge on Nexus Switching – VDC, VPC, FEX, ACI etc.
Should be familiar with Palo Alto models, capabilities, and architecture. Configure, administer, and document firewall infrastructure – Palo Alto, FortiGate.
Manage corporate Palo Alto Firewall implementing security rules and mitigating network attacks covering all aspects of firewall administration such as hardware, operating system, encryption tunnels, VPN, day-to- operations of firewall rule sets etc.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team.
Knowledge of IDS/ IPS Software blades and Threat Monitoring. Log analysis and correlation of Monthly reports.
Supply data on resolvable firewall issues to the vendor Technical Assistance Centres (TAC) and, with assistance from the vendor technicians, advance towards full resolution of the issues and documentation of the process.
Leverage cloud services; cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Cisco Meraki, SDN and SD-WAN, Palo Alto Prisma GPCS (Palo Alto SaaS)
Knowledge and understanding of network device security and hardening best practices.
Configure and Maintain wireless networks with Aruba networks.
Knowledge and understanding of network design or documentation.
Must have a solid understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles, practices and processes in providing and managing the delivery of a large-scale, enterprise-wide service.
Good to have Certifications like CCNP or CCIE and Firewall/Palo Alto.
Liaise with vendors and the necessary support teams for problem resolution.
Audit, Design and Documentation –Maintain up to date HLD/LLD architecture diagram, process/technical documents for internal as well as for Audit
Solutions- Provide solutioning for new projects for DC as well as ODCs. Track AMC of all network devices and propose solutions for additional upgrades or replacements.

Experience with transports, protocols, routing, SDWAN/SDN, AAA/NAC and other common enterprise and carrier grade network related expertise
Experience in Security Operation Centre, SIEM Engineer, Endpoint Security, Incident Vulnerability Management, patch management, Cloud Security Solutions, Data Privacy, and Information Security Auditing.
Experience with mitigation strategies and techniques for attack surface reduction, containment, remediation, and resiliency
Carbon Black, Data Loss Prevention: Symantec/ Forcepoint/ Digital Guardian DLP, Anti-virus: Symantec Endpoint Protection, Encryption Solutions.
Host Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Email Security Systems, Network VAPT, Cloud Security and Data Privacy will be additional benefits.
