  • Sr. Okta Administrator with 10+ years of experience.
  • Position Overview:
  • As a Senior Okta Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our Okta Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. You will play a key role in ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our identity infrastructure, enabling seamless access for employees, partners, and customers.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and administer Okta IAM platform, including user provisioning, access policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and integrations with other systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Okta with various applications, directories, and platforms, ensuring smooth authentication and authorization workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user access, authentication, and authorization, providing timely support to end-users and IT teams.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and implement optimizations to enhance the security and performance of the Okta platform.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in identity and access management, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide training and documentation to promote knowledge sharing and skill development within the organization.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in administering Okta or similar IAM platforms in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication protocols, SAML, OAuth, and LDAP.
  • Hands-on experience with Okta configuration, integration, and troubleshooting, preferably in a complex, multi-tenant environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and customization of Okta workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator (OCA) or Okta Certified Professional (OCP) are a plus.
