You will play a pivotal role in defining the data architecture strategy, leading complex data initiatives, and ensuring our data platforms are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design Design and implementend-to-end data architecturesleveraging Azure cloud and on-premises Microsoft technologies. Developdata strategy, standards, and governance frameworksto ensure data consistency, integrity, and availability. Create and maintaindata models, architecture diagrams, and documentationfor enterprise-wide visibility. Evaluate and recommendmodern data platforms, tools, and integration patternswithin the Microsoft ecosystem. Ensure architectural designs align with business priorities, scalability, and performance goals.Technical Leadership Lead the design and deployment ofdata warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platformsusing: Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Lake Storage Azure SQL Database Azure Databricks Architecthybrid solutionsintegrating on-premisesSQL ServerwithAzure services . DesignETL/ELT data pipelinesusing Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and related technologies. Overseedata security, privacy, and complianceimplementations (GDPR, ISO, SOC, etc.). Optimize database performance and establishbackup, DR, and monitoring frameworks .Project Management & Delivery Leaddata architecture projectsfrom concept to production, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Collaborate withproject managersto define scope, timelines, and deliverables. Manage risks, track dependencies, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities. Guidecross-functional teamsincluding data engineers, analysts, and business partners.Business Partnership Partner withbusiness and technology stakeholdersto translate data needs into technical designs. Present architectural recommendations and insights inbusiness-friendly language . Conductarchitecture reviewsand drive data-driven decision-making across departments. Stay ahead of emergingAzure, data, and analytics trendsto recommend innovative solutions.Required Qualifications Technical Skills 8+ years of experience indata architecture, engineering, or solution designroles. Expertise inAzure data services(Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, SQL Database). Proficient inSQL Server(design, tuning, optimization, and administration). Solid understanding ofhybrid cloud architectures , networking, and integration patterns. Hands-on experience withdata modeling(dimensional, relational, NoSQL). Strong inSQL/T-SQLand one or more programming/scripting languages (Python, C#, PowerShell). Deep understanding ofdata governance, lineage, and security frameworks . Exposure toDevOps, CI/CD , and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for data solutions.Project Management & Delivery Proven success leadingend-to-end data transformation programs . Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments. Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.Business & Communication Exceptional ability tocommunicate complex data conceptsto executive and business audiences. Strongbusiness acumenwith proven experience aligning technical solutions with business goals. Excellentpresentation, documentation, and stakeholder managementskills. Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable leadingcross-functional teams .Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified:Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Data Engineer Associate. Experience withPower BI , DAX, and the broaderMicrosoft Analytics stack . Exposure toreal-time data streamingand event-driven architectures (Kafka, Event Hub). Familiarity withmachine learning, AI, and predictive analytics integration . Hands-on experience withcloud migration and data modernization projects .
