The Senior Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing overall branch operations, driving sales performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires an experienced banking professional with proven leadership skills, extensive knowledge of branch operations, and the ability to manage a high-performing team.Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth functioning across all banking activities.- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of 715 employees to achieve business and service targets.- Drive sales performance for deposits, retail assets, and other banking products.- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance branch reputation and service quality.- Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and audit requirements.- Monitor branch financial performance, including deposit growth, revenue generation, and cost management.- Handle customer escalations and provide timely resolution to ensure high customer satisfaction.- Conduct periodic reviews of staff productivity, performance standards, and goal achievements.- Oversee cash management, security procedures, and audit readiness.- Drive business development initiatives within the local market to expand the branchs customer base.- Prepare and present branch performance reports to senior leadership.Required Qualifications & Experience:- Graduate in any discipline; Bachelors in Finance/Business Administration preferred.- MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.- Local resident of Kakori/Lucknow or familiar with the regional market.- 8 - 12 years of total experience in the banking sector.- Minimum 2- 3 years of experience as a Branch Manager.- Hands-on experience managing a deposit book of 50100 Cr.- Proven track record of high performance, rated highly in 2 of the last 3 years.- Experience in managing and developing teams effectively.
