Job Summary :

As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance team in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will oversee the testing processes, develop QA strategies, manage a team of testers, and collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.

- Test Strategy Development : Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, including manual and automated testing, to ensure product quality.

- Test Planning and Execution : Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure they are testable and met with high quality.

- Defect Management : Track, report, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.

- Automation : Lead the automation efforts by selecting tools, frameworks, and technologies that align with the company's goals and improve testing efficiency.

- Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for process improvement within the QA team and implement best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

- Reporting : Create and present detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders, highlighting key issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Risk Management : Identify potential quality risks in projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

- Compliance : Ensure that all testing activities comply with industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

- Proven experience with both manual and automated testing.

- Experience in leading QA teams and managing the testing lifecycle from planning to execution.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage and motivate a team.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
