About the Role :


We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging large volumes of structured and unstructured data to build predictive models, derive actionable insights, and solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and business units to drive data-driven decision-making and strategic innovation.

Key Responsibilities :


- Analyze large datasets to discover trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic business decisions.

- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for classification, regression, clustering, recommendation, forecasting, NLP, and anomaly detection.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into data science problems.

- Perform feature engineering, data cleansing, transformation, and validation to prepare high-quality data for modeling.

- Conduct A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis to evaluate solutions and measure impact.

- Build and automate dashboards, reports, and data pipelines to ensure smooth delivery of analytical solutions.

- Communicate complex analytical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports.

- Stay updated on the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI; recommend new tools and methodologies as needed.

- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

- 510 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics.

- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch), SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, etc.).

- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and model evaluation techniques.

- Experience with big data platforms such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

- Experience working in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow) is an added advantage.

Good to Have :

- Experience in domains such as fintech, e-commerce, healthcare, or manufacturing.

- Exposure to deep learning, NLP, or computer vision projects.

- Published papers or active contributions to open-source data science communities.
