This is a lead full-stack marketing role & the person will be responsible to own & drive growth.


Role KPIs: Traffic, # Transactions, Conversion rate/CAC


Role Description

The Growth Marketing Lead will be responsible to scale traffic and optimize the entire conversion funnel. S/he will be responsible to build strategy (within the constrains of marketing budget) as per the company priorities and execute the plan to meet the growth goals of the company.


This would be the first hire in marketing team, and the person will be expected to be hands-on w.r.t. implementation on certain marketing channels, and work with consultants/agencies on need-basis/ build lean time in future.


1. Acquisition:

  • SEO: Build SEO strategy based on keyword/competitor research, execute the strategy by working with freelancers/interns/agencies
  • SEM/ Performance Marketing: Manage, optimize & scale the Google Ads campaigns. Experiment campaigns in other channels
  • ASO: Scale the user acquisition in mobile app
  • Product-led growth: Drive Referral programs and other product-led initiatives for customer acquisition
  • Experimentation: Identify and experiment new acquisition channels, explore affiliate marketing, PR, strategic partnerships, etc to drive growth


2. Conversion

  • Work with product team to ensure the right UX for optimizing the overall conversion rate in website/ app
  • Give data-driven inputs/insights to BizDev team to optimize hotel supply for maximizing conversion rate


3. Retention

  • CRM/ Marketing Automation: Set up, optimize the marketing automation campaigns and run ad-hoc campaigns aimed at driving high engagement for increasing the # bookings per customer
  • Work with product team in optimizing the loyalty programs aimed at maximizing customer retention


Qualifications

  • ~4-8 years experience in digital marketing in B2C startup
  • Strong expertise & hands-on experience in SEO & SEM
  • Highly analytical/ data-driven with growth mindset
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter and passionate about building & growing startup
