We're urgently looking for a Principal Sales Analyst (has to be based Bangalore) a strategic role focused on driving sales performance through data analysis, strategic planning & operational improvements. This individual (with his team) works closely with Business Heads + Sales leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth, optimize sales processes and ensure the sales team is equipped to achieve its goals. Key responsibilities include analyzing sales data, developing sales strategies, forecasting revenue, and implementing initiatives to improve sales productivity and efficiency.

In essence he/she acts as a strategic partner to the sales organization, using data and analytical skills to drive revenue growth, improve sales efficiency, and optimize overall sales performance. This role (critical for our success) reports directly to the Founder/CEO & provides insights for executive-level decision making including optimization of our go-to-market strategy, business planning, and demand generation/pipeline analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate ongoing business performance against growth targets to support daily operations. Define, design, and interpret key performance metrics to deliver insights and recommendations. He/ She should know how to analyze data & report order pipeline, bookings, forecasting, sales productivity and goal attainment.(executive-level reporting as also exception reporting), Drive continuous improvement and transformation. enable data-driven decision-making and build systems that scales with the organization. Be hands-on with a business as well as technical mindset; thriving in a fast-paced, high growth environment.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Product & HR

- The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about what they do & brings in high energy, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively across teams and functions. Has 10+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Operations or Business Operations, preferably in a technology-first or high-growth setting.

- Demonstrates strong analytical skills, with experience in reporting, forecasting and performance tracking. Has designed and scaled repeatable, efficient operational processes. Pays excellent attention to detail but also knows when to apply an 80/20 lens.

- Communicates effectively with stakeholders across levels and thrives in cross-functional collaboration. Works with a self-starter mindset, is comfortable with ambiguity and brings a can-do attitude. Given the exposure, the huge canvas to play upon & the ability to learn new things very fast including GEN AI gameplans , lets face it ... the experience can be daunting for some and hence definitely not for the faint hearted.

All depends on what you bring to the table (In the past it ranged between 40-50 Lacs/annum ++ ) of course you will need to link a part of the same to performance(there are no free lunches remember . After all in management you don't get paid to only report/discuss problems ..... you get paid to fix the same ).
