Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Developer (minimum 5+ years of experience) with a proven track record in the IT services industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in lead generation and client acquisition through freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru, and other online portals. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify business opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth.Key Responsibilities: Generate qualified leads through freelancing platforms including Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour, Toptal, and other relevant portals Create compelling proposals and bid responses that showcase company capabilities and win projects Identify and pursue new business opportunities in IT services including software development, web development, mobile app development, ERP/CRM solutions, and other technology services Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships Understand client requirements, provide technical consultation, and propose appropriate solutions Negotiate contracts, pricing, and project terms to achieve profitable deals Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate project scoping and feasibility assessment Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly lead generation and revenue targets Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and conversion metrics Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies Represent the company professionally in client communications and virtual meetingsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development within the IT industry Demonstrated success in generating leads and winning projects through Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and similar platforms Strong understanding of IT services including software development, web development, mobile applications, cloud services, ERP/CRM systems Excellent proposal writing and communication skills in English Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate effectively with both clients and technical teamsPreferred Skills: Active accounts with established profiles on major freelancing platforms Experience with CRM tools and sales management software Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Understanding of various technology stacks and development frameworks Previous experience in client-facing roles in IT services companies MBA or relevant advanced degree.Key Competencies: Result-oriented with strong business acumen Self-motivated and able to work independently Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities Adaptability to changing market conditions Strong time management and organizational skillsWhat We Offer: Competitive salary with performance-based incentives Opportunity to work with diverse international clients Professional growth and career advancement opportunities Collaborative and supportive work environment
