The role involves identifying vulnerabilities in blockchain systems, performing security audits, and ensuring robust network and application security across decentralized platforms.Key Responsibilities Conductsmart contract audits , focusing on vulnerabilities such asreentrancy, overflow/underflow attacks , and other common security flaws. Ensureblockchain network security , includingkey management, consensus mechanisms, and on-chain privacy . EvaluatedApp securityand recommend mitigation strategies. ApplyOWASP Top 10guidelines and perform security testing usingSAST/DAST tools . Implement secure protocols includingHTTPS, TLS, HSTS, and CSP . Manage and auditKey Management Systemslike Azure Key Vault and HashiCorp Vault. EnforceIdentity & Access Management (IAM)andRole-Based Access Control (RBAC)across blockchain applications. Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into development workflows.Required Skills & Competencies Strong experience insmart contract auditingandblockchain security . Hands-on knowledge ofkey management, consensus tuning, and network security . Familiarity withdApp architecture and on-chain privacy techniques . Expertise insecurity testing tools (SAST/DAST)and secure coding practices. Proficiency inHTTPS, TLS, HSTS, CSP , and other web security standards. Experience withAzure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault , or similar KMS solutions. Knowledge ofIAM and RBAC implementation . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Education & Experience Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 6-8 years of experiencein smart contract auditing, blockchain security, or related cybersecurity roles. Relevant certifications (CEH, OSCP, blockchain security certifications) are a plus.Preferred Experience Exposure toDeFi protocols, decentralized applications (dApps) , and enterprise blockchain frameworks. Understanding ofDevSecOps practices for blockchain .
