TEKsystems is looking for someone for a ServiceNow Developer, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize the ServiceNow platform to support the organization's IT Operations Management (ITOM) with primarily working on implementation of Cloud discovery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets business needs and aligns with ITIL best practices.


Timing: 3pm to 12am

Location: Hyderabad/ Chennai

Experience: 4-6 years relevant


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Creation/implementation/modification of cloud infrastructures and architectures .
  • Customize and configure cloud applications.
  • Participation in at least two ServiceNow deployment projects, specifically for ITOM implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration Run discoveries .
  • Identify gaps for the devices that are not discovered and troubleshoot .
  • Understand detailed requirements and own code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of deployment details received from integration sources.
  • Scripting (JavaScript) for different modules for writing Rules, Updating/creating workflows, APIs etc.


Qualifications: .

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience ServiceNow Developer with comprehensive cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, and GCP) . Common Service Data Model (CSDM) , Configuration Management Database(CMDB) ·
  • Preferred Experience in ITOM modules & Discovery
  • Expertise ServiceNow deployments, integration with other third party tools, Orchestration
  • Preferred CIS Discovery, CIS Service Mapping CIS Event Mgmt.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and other relevant technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT Operation Management processes and best practices.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Application Developer certifications preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and ITIL v3 or v4 Certification preferred.


Preferred Skills:

  • ServiceNow administration and development.
  • Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping and Event management.
  • Scripting languages such as JavaScript.
  • ITIL best practices.
  • Basic networking concepts and experience with
  • REST and SOAP integrations with 3rd party tools .
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
