Responsibilities :

Skills :

- Strong proficiency in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure and data systems.

- Strong track record in creating scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud, distributed, and hybrid (edge/cloud) infrastructures and systems.

- Deep knowledge of and experience with Azure services.

- Solid experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform and Ansible.

- Strong proficiency in writing policies in Sentinel language and applying them across our infrastructure projects.

- Solid understanding of containerization technologies, especially Docker.

- Strong Linux skills, including bash scripting and command-line proficiency.

- Proficiency in Python.

- Familiarity with edge computing concepts and challenges.

- Understanding networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and TLS/HTTPS.

- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Dagster.

- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data mesh systems.

Duties :

- Collaborate with engineering leaders to help define the requirements for executing our business and technology strategy.

- Work with engineers to innovate and build new cloud and hybrid systems, improve and enhance existing systems, and identify new opportunities to apply your knowledge to solve critical problems.

- Participate in design sessions and lead code reviews with peers and developers to elevate the engineering quality within the

organization, emphasizing observability, documentation, security, and risk management.

- Refine and expand technical/architecture/design guidance documentation for team engineers so that they can follow best practices, policies, standards, and procedures when building infrastructure for our systems and services.

- Mentor and develop other infrastructure engineers on the team while learning new skills/attributes in the role
