Job Title – L2 Security Support Engineer – Cloudflare WAF / DDoS / AlgoSec / SafeBreach / Burp Suite / Bugcrowd

Location – Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad (Hybrid – 2 days in office)

Role Type – Contract to Hire (3 to 6 months)

Must Have Skills:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in security operations with hands-on exposure to any 2 of the following: Cloudflare WAF & DDoS, AlgoSec, SafeBreach, Burp Suite, Bugcrowd
  • Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and web security principles
  • Familiarity with firewall rules, network traffic flows, and change management processes
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira

Responsibilities and Job Details:

  • Provide L2-level support for Cloudflare WAF and DDoS mitigation, including rule tuning, traffic analysis, and threat handling
  • Troubleshoot and optimize firewall policy issues using AlgoSec, ensuring compliance and performance
  • Monitor simulated attack scenarios and breach validations via SafeBreach, assisting in remediation planning
  • Conduct application vulnerability testing using Burp Suite and assist in triaging Bugcrowd submissions
  • Collaborate with application and network security teams to remediate identified security issues
  • Manage and track security incidents, change requests, and compliance tasks in alignment with SLAs
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, SOPs, and logs for operational efficiency and audits
  • Escalate complex issues to L3 or vendor teams and follow up for timely resolution
