The role focuses on day-to-day operations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution for trading and enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support Hitachi storage systems (VSP, VSP G Series, HUS/AMS) in primary DC and DR sites. Perform L2 operations including volume management, LUN provisioning, masking, replication setup (TrueCopy, ShadowImage). Monitor storage health, performance, and resolve L2 faults under strict SLAs. Collaborate with server, network, and application teams for seamless storage integration. Participate in backup, replication, and DR testing to ensure high availability. Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and audit-ready documentation for compliance. Assist in storage patching, firmware upgrades, and minor configuration changes. Technical Requirements: 5+ years hands-on experience with Hitachi storage arrays (VSP / AMS / HUS). Strong understanding of LUN provisioning, masking, zoning, replication, and snapshots. Experience with Hitachi Device Manager / Command Suite / Hitachi Storage Navigator. Knowledge of SAN/NAS protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS). Familiarity with financial trading/BFSI environments or regulated DCs. Exposure to ITIL-based incident/change management. Preferred Certifications: Hitachi Certified Storage Administrator (HCSA) ITIL Foundation
