The role focuses on day-to-day operations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution for trading and enterprise applications.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and support Hitachi storage systems (VSP, VSP G Series, HUS/AMS) in primary DC and DR sites.- Perform L2 operations including volume management, LUN provisioning, masking, replication setup (TrueCopy, ShadowImage).- Monitor storage health, performance, and resolve L2 faults under strict SLAs.- Collaborate with server, network, and application teams for seamless storage integration.- Participate in backup, replication, and DR testing to ensure high availability.- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and audit-ready documentation for compliance.- Assist in storage patching, firmware upgrades, and minor configuration changes.Technical Requirements:- 5+ years hands-on experience with Hitachi storage arrays (VSP / AMS / HUS).- Strong understanding of LUN provisioning, masking, zoning, replication, and snapshots.- Experience with Hitachi Device Manager / Command Suite / Hitachi Storage Navigator.- Knowledge of SAN/NAS protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS).- Familiarity with financial trading/BFSI environments or regulated DCs.- Exposure to ITIL-based incident/change management.Preferred Certifications:- Hitachi Certified Storage Administrator (HCSA)- ITIL Foundation
