AI Evangelist

As AI reshapes the future of software, we aim to harness its power to transform how networks, IT systems, and large-scale business operations are built and managed, and we are looking for a visionary, hands-on AI Evangelist & Enablement Lead to join our organization. This is a unique hybrid role that blends deep technical expertise with a passion for teaching, enablement, and advocacy. You will be part of an internal AI excellence office, driving the adoption of Agentic and Generative AI across engineering and product teams, while also positioning the organization as a thought leader in the global technology ecosystem. What You’ll BringExtensive Technical Background7+ years of hands-on software development experience Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java, Python, C#, TypeScript, etc.) Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices AI/ML ExpertisePractical experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, etc.) Familiarity with conversational AI tools for development (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) Strong knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development workflows Understanding of AI/ML model lifecycle, context management, and API integration patterns Leadership & InfluenceAbility to drive technology adoption across large, distributed teams without formal authority Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience in Developer Advocacy, Technical Evangelism, or platform/tool enablement roles is a strong advantage What You Will DoInternal AI Enablement & StrategyPartner with engineering and product teams to integrate AI/GenAI tools throughout the software development lifecycle Define and champion best practices, coding standards, and workflows for AI-assisted development Build and lead an internal AI community of practice to promote innovation and responsible AI adoption Hands-on Implementation & PrototypingEvaluate, pilot, and integrate new AI development platforms and frameworks Build proof-of-concept solutions and reusable AI components to demonstrate emerging capabilities Develop robust frameworks for leveraging AI services with scalability, security, and performance in mind Knowledge Sharing & EducationDeliver workshops, tech talks, and practical training sessions on AI-related topics Build an internal knowledge base with documentation, code samples, and case studies Mentor engineers and team leads on applying AI to complex enterprise and domain-specific challenges External Evangelism & Thought LeadershipRepresent the organization at industry events, customer forums, and developer communities Publish whitepapers, technical blogs, or open-source contributions showcasing innovative AI work Stay ahead of the rapidly evolving AI landscape and bring insights back to internal teams Why You’ll Love This RoleIf you’re passionate about applying cutting-edge AI to solve global-scale challenges and enabling hundreds of engineers to build software faster, smarter, and better, this role gives you the opportunity to drive innovation at the intersection of AI, telecom-scale systems, and enterprise technology.
