Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer with 2–3 years of hands-on design and project management experience. In this role, you will lead design initiatives, oversee junior team members, and collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and vendors. Your skills in drafting, SketchUp modeling, and mood board creation will be key to communicating design intent and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end design development: concept creation, space planning, material & furniture selection, lighting, and color coordination.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Use SketchUp to develop accurate models that illustrate spatial layouts and design ideas.
  • Create and present mood boards and visual presentations using material samples, color palettes, and imagery to communicate design concepts.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Provide guidance and quality checks for junior designers' work.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution on site.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and materials to maintain design integrity.
  • Stay current with design trends, materials, and industry standards.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project reviews.
  • Maintain organized documentation for all projects including drawings, specifications, and client correspondence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Skilled in creating mood boards and visual design presentations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods.
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Project management and multitasking ability.
  • Leadership experience in guiding junior team members.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
