Location: Remote India | Experience: 8+ Years | Type: 6 months Contract

We are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure deployments, and improving system performance and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Automate deployments, integrations, and testing processes.
  • Manage Kubernetes/GKE and containerized applications (Docker).
  • Enhance platform observability and optimize monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk).
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Workflows, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Spinnaker, CircleCI, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
  • Proactively troubleshoot issues and implement long-term automation solutions.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Contribute to cloud strategy and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years in infrastructure design, implementation, and delivery.
  • 5+ years working with cloud technologies (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure a plus).
  • 4+ years with container orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE, Docker).
  • 3+ years with monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk).
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Go, Java, or Ruby).
  • Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Databricks and building data warehouses.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and performance modeling.
