Cloud Operations Engineer Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of cloud-based systems, ensuring maximum uptime and minimal costs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Design, implement, and maintain cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
    • Develop and deploy monitoring scripts to track daily/weekly usage, spending patterns, and billing reports.
    • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations such as reserved instances, savings plans, and auto-scaling policies.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure resource allocation is optimized for business needs.
Key Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Engineer with hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, scripting, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AWS, Azure, and GCP services, as well as proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.).

  • Technical Requirements:
    • Strong understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation.
    • Experience with cost analysis and optimization for enterprise workloads.
    • Knowledge of native tools like AWS Cost Explorer, CloudWatch, GCP Billing, and third-party monitoring platforms.
