JIRA Administrator

Experience - 5 to 10 Years

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Jira Software and Confluence across multiple projects and departments.
  • Currently setup only for IT, will require review of existing platform and develop a plan to onboard business teams for using Work Management and Confluence
  • Gather requirements and design custom workflows, permission groups, dashboards, and reports for business teams.
  • Ongoing management of user access, groups, and space/project permissions across the Atlassian/Jira ecosystem.
  • Define user groups in Jira and Confluence – not everyone should see everything? How will provisioning rules work?
  • Monitor system performance, perform regular audits, and ensure data integrity and compliance with best practices
  • Work with development, DevOps, and project management teams to ensure Atlassian tools are aligned with business needs.
  • Train end-users and develop internal documentation, best practices, and governance standards.
  • Manage and monitor licensing.
