Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Java.

- Apply engineering best practices including code reviews, CI/CD, and TDD.

- Design application modules using OOP, multi-threading, caching, fault tolerance, sockets, and inter-process communication.

- Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA frameworks.

- Work with Docker containers and Jenkins pipelines for seamless build and deployment processes.

- Integrate and manage streaming platforms like Kafka, and databases like MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra.

- Collaborate within agile teams (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives) using tools like JIRA.

- Contribute to architecture decisions, technical reviews, and production debugging.

- Use Git for version control and follow CI/CD deployment pipelines.

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS or GCP cloud platforms.

- Automate workflows and improve development efficiency using AI tools and platforms.

Requirements :

- 4 - 9 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java.

- Deep understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.

- Experience in building and deploying microservices at scale.

- Strong knowledge of multithreading, synchronization, and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Jenkins, and Git-based workflows.

- Proficient in databases both SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra).

- Experience with message brokers or streaming platforms like Kafka.

- Exposure to Agile development methodologies and sprint rituals.

- Hands-on experience with deployment in AWS or GCP environments.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team.

Good to Have :

- Background in product-based companies, startups, or ecommerce platforms.

- Prior experience in integrating or leveraging AI tools in engineering workflows.

- Open-source contributions or active GitHub profile.
