We are urgently looking to hire a VP Finance for a reputable steel manufacturing client of Wowjobs based in Raipur. with 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, preferably in steel or metals manufacturing industry &  5+ years of experience in leadership roleResponsible for overseeing, monitoring, and reporting the daily billing process, including the Bills Payables, Bills receivables, associated taxes, and miscellaneous bank transactions and cash bills. Monitor the processing of all incoming and outgoing transactions made by the organization and ensure the reporting of the same on a daily basis. Receive and validate complete documentation for all transactions made by the organization, and accordingly approve the same for payments or receipts on a timely basis. Ensure all paperwork for each transaction is appropriately prepared, updated in all systems and logged as per SOPs and in designated timelines. Oversee the preparation of the Daily Fund flow report that describes the movement of funds in and out of all the corporate accounts on a daily basis. Validate the report by screening it for any discrepancies and share the same with appropriate stakeholders. Assess the payment timelines for all outbound transactions and take the associated advise into consideration while planning the bill passing schedule to best utilize the company’s funds. Oversee all workings of the GST team, including but not limited to data entry, validation & reconciliation, returns filing, GST payments, and litigation handling Ensure all GST entries are made appropriately on all relevant platforms (internal & external) and validate the same. Support the GST team in preparation of responses to GST related inquiries, rulings, litigations and court attendances C General Administration Lead a team of bill passing, collections, GST officers and other financial professionals for smooth management of company’s funds. Assess the payment advise attached with each bill processed by the bill passing team and approve the same or provide relevant comments accordingly. Maintain records of all transactions made by the organization and prepare the same for presentation in TOC and other relevant meetings.Interested candidates can share their CV at preeti.carvalho@wowjobs.biz
