You will report directly to the Director and leadmonth-end close, reconciliations, audit support, cross-border payments, and financial reporting .Key ResponsibilitiesOwnmonth-end close , accruals, reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and reporting. Serve asprimary audit liaison ; maintain audit-ready schedules and controls. ReconcileSuspense/Clearing accountsand implement preventive control policies. Overseecross-border payments , tax treatment, and documentation for VC operations. Manage workflows inNetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERPs ; build and improve finance processes.Mandatory 48-Hour Practical Test (Shortlisted candidates only)1-pageMonth-End Close Checklistfor a ~5-person VC-backed firm 3 Adjusting Journal Entries(with workings) from a provided Trial Balance Reconciliationof a Suspense Clearing account + proposed policy 250–400 word memooncross-border payment tax/treatmentfor VC firmsMust-Have Qualifications7+ years accounting experience ;3+ years in a senior role(Manager/Controller/VP Finance) Big 4 experience ,US education , or experience in aVC / VC-backed / PEenvironment StrongExcel , reconciliations, external audit, and financial controls background Experience withNetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems Excellentwritten and spoken English ; available forEU + US-time calls Reliable internet; proven ability to work independently in a remote setup
