Skill's: Asset Management, ITIL4 Foundation,· Location: Pune· Experience: 5 to 7 Yrs· Job Type : Contract to hire.· Notice Period:- Immediate joiners.Job Role:Key Responsibilities:- Software Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all software assets, including licenses, versions, and installations. - License Compliance: Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and manage renewals and audits. - Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement of software, liaising with Finance team for the Invoicing, Billing and maintenance of agreements in the designated repositories. - Usage Monitoring: Monitor software usage to identify underutilized licenses and opportunities for cost savings. - Policy Development: Develop and enforce software asset management policies and procedures. - Reporting: Generate regular reports on software usage, compliance, and cost savings. - Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with software vendors and manage contracts and agreements. - Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on software asset management best practices. - Responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and supporting cost-effective software procurement and usage. - Experience with cloud-based software and licensing models.Governance:- Review service commitments (if any), KPIs & metrics. - Perform Software asset audits when required. - Work with necessary teams to ensure publisher audit readiness. - Conducts pre-review of reports related to assets. - Identify policy or process violations and address the same.Skills required:- Strong understanding of software licensing and compliance. - Excellent organizational and analytical skills. - Proficiency in SAM tools and software. - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software asset management or a related role.Preferred Certifications:- Certification in Software Asset Management (e.g., CSAM). - ITIL4 Foundation
