Client is expanding its SaaS ServiceNow practice and is actively seeking a ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Developer/Consultant. The role will involve designing and implementing scalable SAM Pro solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong development experience, hands-on SAM Pro expertise, and a solid grasp of integrations and scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow SAM solutions
  • Customize applications including ITAM, HAM, and SAM within ServiceNow
  • Integrate with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs
  • Troubleshoot SAM module issues and optimize performance
  • Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Support ServiceNow Discovery, Mapping, and MID server configurations
  • Collaborate across architecture and implementation teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in ServiceNow development
  • Proven experience implementing ServiceNow SAM Pro module
  • Familiarity with SCCM, Software Asset Workspace, Spend Detection
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Customizing ServiceNow ITAM/SAM apps
  • Discovery & Service Mapping
  • REST/SOAP APIs, Flow Designer, Data Stream, Scripted REST APIs
  • Proficient in Java, JavaScript, or similar languages
  • Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAM implementations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
