An SAP EDI Integration Advisor is a strategic problem-solver who bridges the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. This role involves analyzing business processes, designing integration architectures, and implementing and maintaining integration solutions to optimize organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, processes, and pain points.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through integration.
  • Document business requirements clearly and concisely.
  • Integration Architecture Design:
  • Develop and maintain integration architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
  • Select appropriate integration technologies and platforms based on project requirements.
  • Design and document integration solutions, including data mapping and transformation rules.
  • Integration Implementation:
  • Configure and implement integration solutions using various tools and technologies.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure integration quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Integration Support:
  • Provide ongoing support for integration systems and processes.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage integration-related incidents and service requests.
  • Knowledge Sharing:
  • Stay up-to-date on integration technologies and industry trends.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
  • Mentor junior team members in integration concepts and methodologies.

Mandatory skills

  • SAP CPI and EDI Integration Advisor experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of integration concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data mapping and transformation techniques.
  • Experience with various integration patterns (e.g., EAI, ESB, API management).
  • Understanding of cloud computing and integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific industry verticals (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail).
  • Certifications in integration technologies or platforms.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
