We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Datasphere Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in moving data from SAP SuccessFactors to SAP Datasphere and hands-on experience with Databricks. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, integration, and transformation within the SAP ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:


Data Integration and Migration:

  • Design and implement data migration strategies from SAP SuccessFactors, SAP ARIBA, ConCur to SAP Datasphere.
  • Ensure seamless data integration and synchronisation between SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Datasphere.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.


Data Architecture and Modeling:

  • Design and optimize data models within SAP Datasphere.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance across all data sets.
  • Implement best practices for data modeling, storage, and retrieval.


Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and developers, to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.


Databricks Integration:

  • Leverage Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics.
  • Integrate Databricks workflows with SAP Datasphere for enhanced data insights and reporting.
  • Optimize Databricks performance and manage resource allocation effectively.


Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor data workflows and performance, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Continuously improve data processing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain data security and compliance measures.


Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SAP Datasphere and 10 years in SAP Data solutions
  • Proven experience in data migration, integration, and ETL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and related technologies.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in data modelling, SQL, and ETL tools.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture and data flows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Certifications:

  • SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
  • Databricks certification is a plus.
