We are currently seeking a talented Tax Accountant with New Zealand Taxation experience to join our dynamic team.


Role Overview: As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning activities, ensuring adherence to New Zealand tax regulations, and providing expert advice to our clients. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.


Key Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Prepare and review tax returns for Company, Partnership, Trust, Individual and Group tax returns, financial statements and working papers
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to New Zealand clients
  • Ensure compliance with New Zealand tax laws and regulations
  • Assist with tax-related inquiries
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry trends
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality service
  • Use of popular software used for New Zealand tax, specifically Xero


Communication skills:

  • English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate directly with foreign clients over the phone is an asset

Academic qualifications & experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CA/CS/ICWA Dropouts​ OR CA/CS/ICWA Qualified
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a New Zealand Tax Accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand tax laws and regulations
