Role Overview: As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning activities, ensuring adherence to New Zealand tax regulations, and providing expert advice to our clients. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities and Duties :

Prepare and review tax returns for Company, Partnership, Trust, Individual and Group tax returns, financial statements and working papers
Provide tax planning and advisory services to New Zealand clients
Ensure compliance with New Zealand tax laws and regulations
Assist with tax-related inquiries
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry trends
Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality service
Use of popular software used for New Zealand tax, specifically Xero

Communication skills:
English communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to communicate directly with foreign clients over the phone is an asset
Academic qualifications & experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
CA/CS/ICWA Dropouts​ OR CA/CS/ICWA Qualified
Minimum of 1 year experience in a New Zealand Tax Accounting role.
Strong knowledge of New Zealand tax laws and regulations
