Job Summary :

- 10+years experience.

Network Security Design and Implementation :

- Design and implement network security solutions using Palo Alto Networks technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.

- Develop and maintain security architecture diagrams and documentation.

- Ensure the scalability, robustness, and reliability of security solutions.

Firewall Management :

- Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including policy creation, rule updates, and troubleshooting.

- Monitor firewall performance and security logs to identify and mitigate potential threats.

Security Policy and Compliance :

- Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Incident Response and Troubleshooting :

- Respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.

- Provide expert troubleshooting support for network security issues.

Collaboration and Training :

- Work closely with other IT teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of the network and systems.

- Provide training and guidance to IT staff and end-users on security best practices.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain detailed records of security configurations, incidents, and changes.

- Prepare regular reports on the status of network security to senior management.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in network security, with a focus on firewall management.

- Proven experience with Palo Alto Networks Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent certification preferred.

- Other relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus.

Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls and security tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
