Job Description :

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our microservices-based applications. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and reliability of our cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources on AWS

- Develop and maintain Helm charts for the deployment and management of Kubernetes-based microservices

- Automate the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of microservices to Kubernetes clusters

- Optimize the performance and scalability of the Kubernetes infrastructure, including monitoring, logging, and autoscaling

- Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the deployment and operation of microservices in a cloud-native environment

- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role

- Proficient in Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management, particularly on AWS Extensive


- Experience in working with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of microservices

- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment


- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and the associated design patterns and best practices


- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions

- Experience in implementing and maintaining observability and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively document technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with containerization and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

- Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning and management on other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud)

- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet


- Understanding of security best practices in a cloud-native environment


- Experience in performance optimization and incident response management
