Job Description: 

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our microservices-based applications. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and reliability of our cloud-based solutions. 


Role Description

Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources on AWS 

Develop and maintain Helm charts for the deployment and management of Kubernetes-based microservices 

Automate the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions 

Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of microservices to Kubernetes clusters 

Optimize the performance and scalability of the Kubernetes infrastructure, including monitoring, logging, and autoscaling 

Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack 

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the deployment and operation of microservices in a cloud-native environment 

Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime 


Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role 

Proficient in Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management, particularly on AWS Extensive experience in working with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of microservices 

Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment Strong understanding of microservices architecture and the associated design patterns and best practices Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions 

Experience in implementing and maintaining observability and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) 

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 

Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively document technical solutions
