Strong proficiency in installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching. Expertise in backup and recovery strategies, using native tools and third-party solutions. Deep understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) techniques (AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, Clustering, Mirroring). Strong experience in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, SQL Profiler, and Execution Plans. Solid T-SQL programming and scripting experience. Experience in managing large and complex databases (TBs of data, high transaction volume). Ability to work in team setting as well as independently. Strong understanding of security and compliance, including encryption, auditing, and role-based access. Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, T-SQL, or similar tools. Hands-on experience with SQL Server Agent jobs, SSIS packages, and SQL Maintenance Plans. Good communication skills with both technical and management teamsRegards, Prashaanthini
