Your work profile.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Palo Alto Networks XSIAM Migration Engineer to lead and execute the migration of existing security infrastructure (IBM Qradar SIEM) to the Palo Alto Networks XSIAM (Extended Security Intelligence and Automation Management) platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cybersecurity operations, SIEM/SOAR technologies, and hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks products, particularly XSIAM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute the migration of IBM QRadar SIEM and security tools to Palo Alto Networks XSIAM.
• Assess existing security data sources, event logs, and integrations for migration feasibility and readiness.
• Design and implement integrations between XSIAM and existing security infrastructure (firewalls, endpoint protection, cloud platforms, etc.).
• Develop and customize detection rules, automated workflows, and response playbooks within XSIAM.
• Validate data ingestion, correlation, alerting, and reporting post-migration to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams, network engineers, and stakeholders to align migration goals with organizational security policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data migration, ingestion, and platform configuration.
• Provide training and documentation for security operations teams on using and managing XSIAM.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends in cybersecurity analytics, automation, and Palo Alto Networks product updates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Palo Alto Networks security products, especially XSIAM or Cortex platforms.
• Strong background in SIEM, SOAR, and security analytics tools.
• Experience migrating from other SIEM solution preferably IBM Qradar to Palo Alto Networks XSIAM is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, incident response, and log management.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) to support integrations and playbooks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Engineer (PCNSE), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is an advantage.

Additional Skills:

• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration into XSIAM.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic security environment.
