Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the daily financial operations and compliance processes within our organization. This role demands strong leadership in managing end-to-end accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), financial reconciliation, taxation (GST, TDS), financial planning, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Indian accounting standards, ERP systems (preferably Tally Prime), and regulatory frameworks while mentoring a growing team of finance Financial Oversight:

- Lead the end-to-end accounting cycle, including transaction processing, ledger management, and monthly/yearly financial closures. Oversee preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations.

- Establish internal controls and enforce financial discipline across departments.

Team Leadership & Operations Management:

- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and finance associates handling AP, AR, reconciliations, and tax operations. Allocate responsibilities, monitor daily operations, and ensure productivity across the finance function.

- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

Compliance & Taxation:

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory submissions. Coordinate with consultants and government bodies on audits, assessments, and tax filings.

- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting regulations, advising the leadership on financial impact.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead budgeting and forecasting exercises; monitor budget variances and provide actionable insights to management. Perform cost analysis and assist in strategic decision-making to improve financial efficiency.

Audit & Risk Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for statutory, internal, and external audits. Maintain documentation and records in alignment with audit and regulatory standards. Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance/CA preferred). Minimum 5+ years of experience in core accounting, finance operations, and taxation, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.

- Strong command over Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting systems. In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory frameworks. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional Attributes

Experience in handling financial audits and working with tax consultants or Big 4 firms. Exposure to digital finance tools and automation initiatives in accounting processes. Ability to work under tight deadlines with accuracy and clarity in reporting (ref:iimjobs.com)
