Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :


1. Automation Framework Design :


- Architect and implement scalable automation frameworks for Web UI, Mobile Apps, APIs, and backend systems.


- Ensure that automation frameworks are flexible and can be adapted to various projects and technologies.


2. Strategic Alignment :


- Collaborate with engineering leadership to ensure automation strategies are aligned with business objectives.


- Act as a thought leader, influencing the direction of automation strategies across multiple projects.


3. Leadership & Mentorship :


- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on automation methodologies, tools, and best practices.


- Lead by example, driving the adoption of advanced testing methodologies such as TDD and BDD.


4. CI/CD Integration :


- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with seamless integration of automation tools.


- Ensure that automation is a key component of the software delivery lifecycle, enhancing deployment efficiency and reliability.


5. Design Pattern Application :


- Apply design patterns to create reusable, efficient, and maintainable test automation solutions.


- Ensure that the automation solutions are optimized for performance and scalability.


6. Continuous Improvement :


- Stay abreast of emerging testing tools and technologies; evaluate and recommend their adoption.


- Drive continuous improvement in testing tools, frameworks, and practices to enhance quality and efficiency.


7. Cross-functional Collaboration :


- Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, testing, DevOps, and product management to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.


- Act as a liaison between various teams to resolve any challenges related to automation.


8. Subject Matter Expertise :


- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in automation best practices, guiding the organization in the adoption and implementation of cutting-edge techniques.


- Experiment with new tools and techniques to push the boundaries of what is possible with automation.


9. Problem-solving & Innovation :


- Analyze existing customer challenges and design context-specific solutions to address them.


- Drive innovation by experimenting with AI/ML-based testing tools and practices to enhance automation :


1. Experience :


- 12-15 years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 8 years in test automation.


- Proven experience in developing automation frameworks for complex systems.


2. Technical Expertise :


- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and cloud deployments.


- Strong knowledge of design patterns and their application in test automation.


- Coding skills in relevant languages and tools for test automation.


3. Communication & Collaboration :


- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across various teams.


- Familiarity with Agile practices and the ability to quickly adapt to changing project needs.


4. Preferred Qualifications :


- Experience in a similar Automation Architect role, managing testing across multiple project teams.


- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning in testing.


- Knowledge of AI/ML-based testing tools and practices.
