The candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, assisting users, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.Key Responsibilities- Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. - Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and basic applications (MS Office, browsers, email clients, etc.). - Handle network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, basic router/switch configurations). - Support users via phone, email, or in person, and log issues in the ticketing system. - Assist with system upgrades, patch installations, and antivirus updates. - Perform routine maintenance such as system health checks, backup checks, and device installations. - Coordinate with senior engineers or vendors for unresolved issues. - Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure adherence to IT policies.Required Skills & Qualifications- Diploma/Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field. - Basic understanding of: - Windows OS and MS Office - Hardware components and troubleshooting - Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) - Strong communication and customer-service skills. - Ability to learn quickly and follow processes.Preferred (Good to Have)- Certification such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft MCP. - Experience with any ticketing tool (ServiceNow, Jira, Fresh service, etc.). - Basic knowledge of Active Directory (user creation, password reset).Work Environment- On-site role based in Gurgaon. - May require rotational shifts depending on business needs.
