TCS is hiring for Desktop Support Engineer role Role : Desktop Support EngineerLocation : DelhiExperience : 8 - 10 yearsProvide technical support for desktop systems, hardware, software, and peripheralsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivityInstall, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipmentRespond to service requests and incidents via ticketing systems within defined SLAsEnsure timely updates and patches for systems to maintain security and performance Document issues and resolutions for knowledge base and future referenceCoordinate with other IT teams for escalations and cross-functional supportSupport remote users using remote desktop tools and VPN configurationsMaintain inventory records of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policiesProvide onboarding/offboarding support including system setup and access provisioningAssist in software deployment and upgrades across user systems.Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issuesSupport end-user training on basic IT tools and security best practicesCollaborate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty claimsEnsure compliance with IT policies and data protection standardsParticipate in audits and documentation for IT asset managementMaintain backup and recovery procedures for user data when applicableSupport mobile device management (MDM) and BYOD policies.Provide VIP support for senior executives and critical users.Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements
