1. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administration:
System Configuration and Maintenance:
- Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments across different modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, etc.
- Oversee system settings, security roles, user access, and customization of entities, forms, views, and workflows.
- Implement and support integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party applications or services.
Data Management & Security:
- Ensure proper data integrity and perform data migration tasks.
- Implement security models, user roles, and permissions based on company policies.
- Manage and ensure secure access to Dynamics 365 via role-based security, field-level security, etc.
System Upgrades & Patches:
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to test updates and new features before deployment.
2. DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD):
CI/CD Pipeline Management:
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure smooth integration of code changes in Dynamics 365 environments.
- Leverage tools like Azure DevOps, Git, and Jenkins for automation and version control.
Version Control and Deployment:
- Create and manage deployment pipelines for both production and non-production environments.
- Ensure code is versioned and deployed consistently across environments.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability in real-time.
- Implement automated monitoring and alerting for timely issue detection.
3. Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS):
LCS Project Management:
- Manage and configure Lifecycle Services (LCS) projects for Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper documentation and versioning of environments.
Monitoring and Issue Resolution:
- Perform proactive monitoring using LCS tools for diagnosing system performance issues, upgrade readiness, and overall health.
- Use LCS to deploy, maintain, and update cloud-hosted environments.
4. Power Platform Administration:
Power Platform Environment Management:
- Oversee the administration of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents) environments.
- Set up environments, manage licensing, monitor usage, and ensure compliance with governance policies.
Power Apps & Automate Flows:
- Assist in the development and deployment of Power Apps solutions.
- Manage automated flows and processes in Power Automate for improved efficiency.
Security & Governance:
- Ensure proper security protocols for Power Platform apps, managing user roles and permissions.
- Implement data loss prevention (DLP) policies, ensuring safe handling of sensitive data.
5. AX Installation and Management:
AX Installation:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics AX on-premises or cloud environments.
- Collaborate with external consultants or internal teams for AX version upgrades, hotfix installations, and troubleshooting.
System Integration:
- Integrate AX with other enterprise applications and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
Backup, Recovery & Disaster Planning:
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies for AX systems to ensure business continuity.
6. General System Administration:
Server & Infrastructure Management:
- Ensure efficient management and support of the underlying infrastructure that supports Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and AX systems.
- Administer virtual and physical server environments, storage, and network resources.
Security Compliance:
- Implement security best practices, such as firewalls, data encryption, anti-virus/malware, and other security protocols to safeguard all systems.
- Monitor security breaches and implement corrective measures as needed.
Key Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, DevOps, and/or related areas is a plus.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience (3-5 years) as a System Administrator, specializing in Dynamics 365, DevOps, Power Platform, and AX Installation.
- Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Administration and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, etc.) and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment and management.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and Azure services.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and SQL queries for database management and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in IT security, data integrity, and disaster recovery best practices.
- Experience with network management, virtualization, and server infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
