Description : Role : ABAP Lead ECC to S/4HANA Migration & Clean Core ExpertLocation : Hyderabad (Hybrid)Experience : 10+ YearsEmployment Type : Were looking for a seasoned ABAP Lead with deep technical expertise in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration and Clean Core implementation.Youll play a pivotal role in guiding technical teams, optimizing custom code, and modernizing SAP landscapes.Key Responsibilities :- Lead and execute custom code migration projects from ECC to S/4HANA analysis, remediation, and optimization.- Use SAP tools (e.g., Custom Code Migration App) to assess and validate code compatibility with S/4HANA.- Drive Clean Core initiatives, leveraging SAP BTP and extensibility frameworks.- Develop scalable solutions using ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDPs, OData, and other S/4HANA technologies.- Guide teams to refactor or replace obsolete code for alignment with modern S/4HANA data models.- Collaborate with functional teams to streamline business processes and adopt standard S/4HANA capabilities.- Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure compliance with SAP best practices.- Mentor junior developers and lead the technical delivery of high-quality SAP solutions.Required Skills & Experience : - 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience across ECC and S/4HANA.- Proven track record in custom code migration and remediation for S/4HANA transformations.- Strong understanding of Clean Core principles, SAP BTP, and Steampunk extensibility.- Expertise in CDS Views, AMDPs, OData Services, Extensions, and SAP Gateway.- Solid knowledge of integration points across FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and related modules.- Experience in Greenfield, Brownfield, or Selective Data Transition projects (ref:hirist.tech)
