Job Summary We are looking for an experiencedSales Managerto drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and expand our market presence in theSouth India region . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record insolar PV module sales , strong leadership skills, and the ability todevelop and execute strategic sales plans . This role requires expertise inbusiness development, channel management, and customer relationship buildingwithin therenewable energy industry .Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development Achieve sales targetsby developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth. Identify and developnew business opportunities , includingEPCs, developers, distributors, and key accountsin the region. Formulatesales plansfor market penetration and establish strong brand positioning. Conductmarket research & competitor analysisto stay ahead in the industry. Manage theentire sales cycle , from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support. 2. Channel & Key Account Management Build and maintain strong relationships withchannel partners, distributors, and key stakeholders . Expand and strengthenregional dealer & distributor networksto increase sales coverage. Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to ensureprofitable and sustainable partnerships . 3. Sales Operations & Performance Management Prepare and presentweekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market insightsto management. Ensuretimely collection of paymentsand manage credit control within company guidelines. Develop pricing strategies aligned withcompany policies and market conditions . 4. Customer Engagement & Retention Providetechnical and commercial consultationto customers onsolar PV modulesand related solutions. Work closely with internal teams to ensuresmooth project execution and customer satisfaction . Address customer concerns, provideafter-sales support , and nurture long-term relationships. 5. Collaboration & Team Leadership Work closely with themarketing, product, and logistics teamsto align sales initiatives. Train and support junior sales team members in developing their skills. Attendindustry events, trade shows, and networking sessionsto expand market reach.Required Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree inengineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy)orBusiness Management . (preferred but not mandatory) MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred but not mandatory). Experience: 5+ years of experience in Sales Management , with at least3 years in the Solar PV industry . Strong knowledge ofsolar PV modules, BOS components, and the renewable energy sector . Experience inB2B sales, channel development, and large-scale project sales . Proven ability tomeet and exceed sales targetsin a competitive market. Skills & Competencies: Strongbusiness development & negotiationskills. Excellent knowledge ofinternational trade, pricing structures, and contract negotiations . Market intelligence & competitor analysisto drive strategic decision-making. Ability tobuild, manage, and expand regional sales networks . Strong interpersonal and communication skills todevelop long-term partnerships . Self-motivated withproblem-solving abilities & decision-making skills . Willingness to travel extensively within theSouth India region .
