Overview: The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry and driving the sales of our advanced wound care devices. This role demands a proactive individual with a deep understanding of the healthcare sector excellent communication skills and a strategic approach to business development.
Note: From both private and government sales background in the healthcare sector Key Responsibilities: Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities within the healthcare sector focusing on hospitals clinics and other medical facilities. Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships. Arrange appointments with doctors pharmacists and hospital medical teams which may include prearranged appointments or regular cold calling. Conduct market analysis to identify trends competitor activities and potential business opportunities in the wound care technology market. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to doctors practice staff and nurses highlighting the benefits and effectiveness of our wound care devices. Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff and support administrative staff. Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of business development strategies with overall company goals. Attend industry events medical conferences and networking sessions to build and maintain a strong professional network. Manage and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and ensure timely followup on leads to ensure reaching the annual sales target. Negotiate and close deals with clients ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Plan work schedules with the regional sales manager. Provide regular reports on business development activities and results to senior management. Keep up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interpret present and discuss this data with health professionals during presentationsQualifications: Science Graduate/ B. Pharma/ MBA Biotechnology/ MBA Pharma/ Biotech/ Biomedical or equivalent Proven experience (2years) in business development sales or a related role within the healthcare sector. Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends in medical devices particularly wound care technology. Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the healthcare industry. Excellent analytical and organizational skills Selfmotivated with a resultsdriven approach.
* Own a vehicle with a valid driving license is essential.
