Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior SDS2 Modeler with a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience for a full-time position located in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurately modeling steel structures using SDS2 software and ensuring adherence to AISC standards.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in SDS2 software (Mandatory skill) is essential for creating accurate and detailed steel structure models.
  • Strong experience in 3D modeling with a focus on steel structures (Mandatory skill) to ensure precise and reliable outputs.
  • Thorough knowledge of AISC standards (Mandatory skill) to guarantee compliance with industry requirements.
  • Experience in Steel Detailing to prepare and review detailed drawings for steel fabrication and erection.
  • Familiarity with various international standards such as CISC, BS, and IS code to handle diverse project requirements.
  • Practical knowledge of Tekla Structures, enabling versatility in modeling and detailing software tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve potential design issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with team members and clients for successful project execution.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed 3D modeling of structural steel using SDS2 software adhering to AISC standards.
  • Prepare, review, and optimize detailed fabrication and erection drawings to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineers, detailers, and clients to discuss and resolve any design challenges or modifications.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet company quality standards and project deadlines, upholding our commitment to quality over quantity.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and standards to continually enhance modeling and detailing practices.
